STATEMENT OF WORK

Needlepointing with yarn started as something to do that did not require too much attention or energy.  Over time the circular needlepoint hoop, the mark-making stitch, the slow arrangement of color that can lose track of time in the marginalized and domestic space of the hobbyist... all of these qualities have become a didactic inspiration for making and thinking about painting.
